On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each outcome – in this case, either Kuwait or Myanmar hitting the most sixes. The price of these shares fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting the collective prediction of the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, the price increases, indicating a higher perceived probability. The market aims to converge towards the true probability as the event approaches and more information becomes available.
This market resolves around Oct 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final results of the Kuwait vs Myanmar cricket match are verifiable from credible public reporting. The team that hits the most sixes during the official match will be declared the winner of this market. The resolution will be based on official match statistics and data released by the governing body of the tournament. Any disputes or ambiguities will be resolved using commonly accepted cricket scoring rules and publicly available match information.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Any news regarding player injuries or changes in team lineups for either Kuwait or Myanmar could significantly shift expectations. Weather forecasts predicting conditions favorable for hitting sixes (e.g., short boundaries, dry pitches) might increase the likelihood of a high-scoring game and move the market. Additionally, performance in prior matches or recent form of key batsmen on both teams could impact trader sentiment and cause price fluctuations. Ultimately, any information that alters perceptions of each team's ability to hit sixes could move this market.
