This market refers to which team's player records the highest individual run total in the cricket match between Bhutan and Myanmar scheduled for October 4 2026 at 9:15 PM ET in T20 World Cup Asia Sub-Regional Qualifier A. The outcome corresponding to Bhutan will be considered correct if the highest individual score in the match is recorded exclusively by a player from Bhutan. The outcome corresponding to Myanmar will be considered correct if the highest individual score is recorded exclusively by a player from Myanmar. If the highest individual score is shared by at least one player from each team, the market will resolve to Draw. The market will resolve according to which team's player records the highest individual run total regardless of if the match is not competed (e.g. Due to weather conditions). DLS/DRS adjustments and any other on-field rulings affecting batting statistics are treated as ordinary data. If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without official batting statistics being recorded, the market will resolve Draw. If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and official statistics are available.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome – in this case, which team's batter will be the top scorer. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who buy shares in a particular outcome, the higher the price goes, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the collective intelligence of those trading it.
This market resolves around Oct 12, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the official match results will be used to determine which team’s batter scored the most runs during the Bhutan vs Myanmar match. The resolution will be based on the official statistics published by the tournament organizers, ensuring a transparent and verifiable process. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final outcome.
Several factors could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding player injuries or changes in team lineups for either Bhutan or Myanmar would likely cause significant movement. Weather conditions on the day of the match could also play a role, as they can impact batting performance. Furthermore, any pre-match analysis or expert opinions that gain traction could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected developments or strong performances in earlier matches of the tournament could also affect how traders assess the probabilities of each team’s top batter.
