This market refers to the cricket match between Bahrain and Qatar scheduled for October 13 2026 at 9:15 PM ET in T20 World Cup Asia Sub-Regional Qualifier A. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their lines based on models and internal analysis, while this market is driven by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs. Often, you’ll find that prediction markets are more accurate than traditional polls or analyst predictions, as traders have a financial incentive to be correct. However, discrepancies can arise due to differing information or risk appetites. It's worth comparing both to form a well-rounded view.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more people trade, the price adjusts to reflect the evolving consensus. The current price indicates the market's collective assessment of the likelihood of a Bahrain or Qatar victory in this match. The volume traded also influences price discovery, with higher volume generally indicating greater confidence in the current price.
This market resolves around Oct 21, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the T20 World Cup Asia Sub-Regional Qualifier A match between Bahrain and Qatar. Traders who correctly predicted the outcome will be paid out according to the final share price at the time of resolution, while those who predicted incorrectly will forfeit their shares.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player form, or weather conditions affecting the match could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about team lineups or strategic changes could also lead to price movements. Furthermore, significant betting activity from informed traders or large-volume participants could also impact the market. Monitoring these signals and staying informed about the teams involved will be crucial for understanding potential shifts in the market’s probability assessment.
