This market refers to the cricket match between South Western Districts and Warriors scheduled for October 25 2026 at 4:00 AM ET in T20 Series South Africa, Women. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Prediction market odds often reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and incorporate a profit margin, while this market represents the collective beliefs of informed traders. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by betting on both platforms. However, it’s important to remember that prediction markets are forward-looking, incorporating expectations about future events, while sportsbook odds are static at the time of the bet. This can lead to variations, particularly as new information emerges.
This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the South Western Districts vs Warriors T20 match. The platform will verify the result against trusted sources to determine the winning outcome. Traders who correctly predicted the result will be eligible to receive their payout based on the final share price at the time of resolution. It’s important to monitor the event closely as the resolution date approaches.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market before resolution. Any news regarding team lineups, player injuries, weather conditions, or changes in pitch conditions could all impact trader sentiment. Unexpected performance in previous matches by either team, or key player form, could also shift the odds. Furthermore, significant betting activity or large trades on Polymarket could create price movements, reflecting a change in overall market opinion. Monitoring these signals will be crucial for understanding potential shifts in the market’s predictions.
