This event tracks the performance of two teams in a specific game of a professional esports match. It focuses on whether each team achieves a predetermined number of in-game kills, reflecting their offensive effectiveness during that game.
The event resolves based on the official statistics from game 2 of the Worlds 2026: T1 vs. Karmine Corp League of Legends match scheduled for November 6, 2026, at 5:00 PM EST. If the match or game is postponed beyond 48 hours of its scheduled start time, cancelled before any relevant statistics are published, or forfeited before any play occurs, the market resolves to the last fair price. If the game begins and is later forfeited, the market resolves based on officially recorded statistics up to the point of forfeit, unless voided by the governing body. For matches shortened or incomplete, resolution is based on officially published statistics; if none exist, it defaults to the last fair price. Any replayed or voided portions of the game do not count toward the outcome. The markets are independent of any official affiliations with the governing league, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
Prediction market odds often reflect a different kind of wisdom than sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market relies on the collective intelligence of traders who are incentivized to accurately forecast the outcome. Often, prediction markets can offer more nuanced probabilities, especially when there’s disagreement among experts or when new information emerges. It’s common to see discrepancies between the two, as each represents a distinct form of forecasting. Comparing the two can be a useful exercise for informed decision-making.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing potential outcomes. The price of a contract indicates the market’s probability of that outcome occurring; a higher price means the market believes the outcome is more likely. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders adjust these prices based on their own analysis, news, and expectations, creating a dynamic reflection of collective belief. The market efficiently incorporates new information as it becomes available, leading to price adjustments and shifts in perceived probabilities regarding the total kills in this League of Legends match.
This market resolves around Nov 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the total number of kills in Game 2 of the T1 versus Karmine Corp match will be used to determine the winning contracts. The official game statistics from the League of Legends broadcast will serve as the basis for verifying the final result. Traders will be able to see the resolution details on Kalshi once the data is confirmed, and payouts will be processed accordingly.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Any news regarding player form, team strategies, or unexpected roster changes for either T1 or Karmine Corp could significantly shift trader sentiment. In-game performance during Game 1 of the series will likely have a strong impact, as it provides insights into each team’s current strengths and weaknesses. Major upsets or dominant performances in other concurrent matches could also indirectly affect the market, as they might influence overall confidence in certain teams or playstyles. Monitoring these signals is key to understanding potential price movements.
