This set of markets tracks various scoring thresholds for the first half of a college football game between Syracuse and UConn. Each threshold represents a different point total that, if exceeded by the combined scores of both teams, determines the outcome of that specific market.
All markets resolve based on the total points scored by both teams during the first half of the Syracuse vs UConn college football game scheduled for October 3, 2026. For each market, if the combined score exceeds the specified threshold (e.g., 2.5, 6.5, 9.5 points, etc.), the market resolves to 'Yes'; otherwise, it resolves to 'No'. Only points scored in the first half count. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the market remains open and resolves based on the official result. If the game does not start within 48 hours, all markets resolve to a fair price. Kalshi is not affiliated with the NCAA, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows traders to express their own beliefs about the game’s outcome. If a significant number of people believe the first half total will be higher than the sportsbook’s line, the price of contracts predicting ‘over’ will increase. This creates a dynamic comparison, as the market adjusts based on collective insight and information.
This market resolves around Oct 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the official box score from the Syracuse vs UConn game will be used to determine the total points scored in the first half. If the total exceeds the threshold defined by the market, contracts predicting ‘over’ will pay out $1. If the total is below the threshold, contracts predicting ‘under’ will pay out $1. The final score will be the determining factor for settlement.
Several factors could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries for either Syracuse or UConn would likely cause significant movement, as would updates on weather conditions that might affect scoring. Changes in public perception, driven by expert analysis or late-breaking news, could also shift the market. Finally, large-volume trades on Kalshi itself can create price fluctuations, especially if they signal informed conviction about the likely first-half total.
