This market reflects the collective wisdom of traders, who may incorporate information not readily available to or fully appreciated by sportsbook oddsmakers. Discrepancies can arise due to differing opinions on player form, potential injuries, or even external factors influencing the match. This dynamic process ensures that the market price constantly adjusts to reflect the latest information and collective sentiment. The market’s depth, indicated by the volume of shares traded, also influences price stability and responsiveness to new information.
