In the upcoming Australia A-League game between Sydney FC and Central Coast Mariners FC, scheduled for November 6, 2026 at 3:40 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Sydney FC vs. Central Coast Mariners FC match originally scheduled for November 6, 2026 at 3:40 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction markets like Polymarket often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a more accurate forecast than traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and ensure profit, which can introduce biases. This market, however, is driven by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs, leading to a more unbiased assessment of the likely outcome. Discrepancies can arise due to differing levels of information, analytical approaches, and risk tolerance between prediction market participants and sportsbook operators.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact score outcomes. The price of each share directly reflects the market's implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and its implied probability rises. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price movements are driven by supply and demand, with traders adjusting their positions based on new information and their own analysis of the match. This creates a dynamic and efficient price discovery process.
This market resolves around Nov 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the Sydney FC versus Central Coast Mariners FC match – the exact scoreline – will be used to determine the winning outcome. Any delays in official reporting may affect the resolution timeline, but the process aims to be as swift and transparent as possible once the official result is available. Traders should monitor official sources for the final score to understand the resolution.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market before resolution. Late-breaking news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Sydney FC or the Central Coast Mariners FC would likely cause significant shifts in probabilities. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if they suggest conditions favoring one team’s playing style, could also impact trading. Furthermore, any significant tactical announcements from either manager, or even shifts in public sentiment based on pre-match analysis, could all contribute to movement in this market.
