Often, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from initial sportsbook lines. Sportsbooks set odds based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market represents the aggregated beliefs of individual traders. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the dynamic nature of trading. If there’s a significant difference, it might suggest the market perceives a different probability of a particular outcome than traditional sportsbooks, offering potential value for informed bettors. It's worth comparing both to form your own informed opinion.
