On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in whether SV Darmstadt 98 or 1. FC Magdeburg will score first. The price of these shares directly reflects the probability of each outcome, as determined by supply and demand. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular team, the price increases, indicating a higher perceived chance of that team scoring first. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price. This dynamic pricing allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust probabilities accordingly.
