Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, aiming to profit regardless of the outcome, while this market allows traders to directly assess probabilities. If a significant discrepancy exists between this market and sportsbook lines, it may indicate that prediction market participants possess information or insights not yet fully priced into sportsbook odds. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities based on different methodologies and information sets.
