Prediction market odds, like those found on Polymarket and Predict, often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the nature of how they are determined. Sportsbooks set odds based on statistical models and expert analysis, while prediction markets are driven by the collective intelligence of many individuals wagering their own capital. This can lead to prediction markets reflecting a more accurate probability, especially when new information emerges or public sentiment shifts. This market, specifically, may offer a different perspective than traditional betting sites, potentially identifying discrepancies in perceived probabilities. The volume of $109 suggests active engagement and price discovery.
