Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbook odds are typically set by professional oddsmakers, while this market is driven by individuals making their own assessments. It’s common to see discrepancies between the two, especially early on, as prediction markets can incorporate information and analysis that sportsbooks may not immediately factor in. Examining both can provide a more well-rounded view of the potential outcome.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether Sunderland and Brighton will have 11 or more total corners. The price of these contracts fluctuates based on supply and demand, with higher prices indicating a greater perceived probability of the event occurring. The current price indicates what percentage of traders believe the outcome will happen.

This market resolves around Oct 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final corner count from the Sunderland vs Brighton match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The official match statistics, as reported by a recognized sports data provider, will determine whether the total number of corners exceeds 10. The market will then settle based on this verified data, and winning contracts will be paid out accordingly. Traders should monitor official sources for the final result to understand the resolution.

Several factors could influence the price of this market. Late injury news regarding key players known for taking corners could shift expectations. Weather conditions, particularly strong winds, might affect the style of play and the number of corners awarded. Pre-match analysis from football experts, focusing on tactical approaches and expected corner counts, could also impact trader sentiment. Finally, any significant news regarding team form or motivation leading up to the match could cause the market to move as traders adjust their predictions.
