In the upcoming Ligue 1 game between Stade Rennais FC 1901 and Lille OSC, scheduled for November 8, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the Stade Rennais FC 1901 vs. Lille OSC match originally scheduled for November 8, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual halftime score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from Ligue 1 (https://www.ligue1.com/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially differing from those set by sportsbooks. Sportsbooks establish lines to balance their risk and ensure profit, while this market is driven purely by individuals predicting the outcome. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply varying interpretations of team strengths and potential game scenarios. It’s common to see this market offer probabilities that diverge from initial sportsbook offerings, especially as new information emerges closer to the event.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible 1st Half Exact Score. The price of each share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular score, its price increases, reflecting a higher perceived chance of it happening. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current top outcome, Stade Rennais FC 1901 0 - 0 Lille OSC, has a chance percentage of 50.0% according to traders on Polymarket.
This market resolves around Nov 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score at the end of the first half of the Stade Rennais vs. Lille match will determine the winning outcome. The resolution will be based on official match data, ensuring an accurate and transparent result. Traders will be able to claim their winnings once the outcome is officially verified and reported by reliable sources.
Several factors could influence the trading activity and shift the odds in this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Stade Rennais or Lille would likely have a significant impact. Changes in team formations or tactical approaches announced before the match could also move the market. Unexpected weather conditions on game day, or even pre-game analysis from respected football commentators, could sway trader sentiment and alter the probabilities of different 1st Half Exact Score outcomes. Overall team performance in recent matches will also be considered.
