In the upcoming match between Stade Brestois 29 and Olympique Lyonnais, scheduled for November 8, 2026 at 11:15 AM ET: This market will resolve to "Stade Brestois 29" if Stade Brestois 29 are the first to score in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time). This market will resolve to "Olympique Lyonnais" if Olympique Lyonnais are the first to score in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time). If neither team scores in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time), this market will resolve to "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market refers only to goals scored within the second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time. First-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from Ligue 1 (https://www.ligue1.com/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, potentially differing from sportsbook odds which are set by professional oddsmakers. Sportsbooks may incorporate factors like public betting patterns and profit margins into their lines, while this market relies on individuals directly predicting the outcome. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially before significant events or when new information emerges. Analyzing these differences can reveal where the crowd believes sportsbooks may be over or underestimating probabilities for the Brest vs. Lyon second half.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous exchange mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe Olympique Lyonnais will score first in the second half, the higher the price of shares representing that outcome will climb, and vice versa for Stade Brestois 29. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the latest information and collective intelligence.
This market resolves around Nov 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the outcome will be determined by which team scores the first goal in the second half of the Stade Brestois 29 versus Olympique Lyonnais match. The official match records will serve as the basis for verifying the result. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final outcome of this market.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, suspensions, or changes in starting lineups for either Stade Brestois 29 or Olympique Lyonnais would likely cause shifts in the odds. Unexpected weather conditions on match day, or even tactical adjustments announced by the managers, could also impact trader sentiment. Furthermore, significant events during the first half of the match – such as a red card or early goal – could dramatically alter the probabilities reflected in this market.
