Description

This market focuses on predicting whether either team will win the first period of an NHL game by a margin exceeding 1.5 goals. It specifically tracks the performance of the teams in the initial segment of the match, ignoring later periods or overtime scenarios. The outcome depends solely on the score difference within the first period of the scheduled game.

Kalshi

The market resolves based on whether either St. Louis or New York R wins the first period by more than 1.5 goals in their NHL game scheduled for Nov 3, 2026. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the market remains active and resolves according to the official result. If the game is cancelled or does not start within 48 hours of the scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price. Overtime in the third period is excluded from consideration for these markets.
