It’s always valuable to compare and contrast to form your own informed opinion.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the market’s current assessment of the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate and new information emerges, the prices adjust accordingly. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The platform uses a decentralized mechanism, meaning there’s no central authority setting the prices; they are solely determined by supply and demand among traders. This dynamic pricing system aims to provide a highly accurate and efficient forecast of the event’s outcome.
