In the upcoming DFB-Pokal game between SSV Jeddeloh II and Hertha BSC, scheduled for October 28, 2026 at 1:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the SSV Jeddeloh II vs. Hertha BSC match originally scheduled for October 28, 2026 at 1:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and ensure profit, while this market allows anyone to trade on their belief about the most likely outcome. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook’s odds are inaccurate, they can take the opposite position in this market, driving the price towards what they perceive as the true probability. It's common to see discrepancies, especially early on, as this market incorporates information and opinions from a wider range of participants.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that score occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information emerges, the prices adjust accordingly, providing a dynamic assessment of the potential outcome. The market is driven entirely by supply and demand; if more people buy shares of a particular score, its price increases, and vice versa.
This market resolves around Oct 28, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the SSV Jeddeloh vs. Hertha BSC match—the exact score—will determine the winning shares. Resolution will occur after the match concludes and the result is widely available through trusted sports news sources. The platform will then verify the outcome and distribute payouts to winning share holders based on the final score.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or even weather conditions could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about team strategy or coaching changes might also have an impact. Furthermore, as the match date approaches, any public statements from players or coaches could sway the market. Significant shifts in betting patterns on traditional sportsbooks could also influence trading activity on Polymarket, as traders attempt to capitalize on perceived mispricings.
