PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both platforms utilize identical resolution criteria based on second-half goal differential, with the same fallback sources and cancellation policy.Primary resolution logic: Official match statistics as recognized by the governing body or event organizers, with fallback to Flashscore, Sofascore, and a consensus of credible reporting.

Core resolution logic:

  • The team scoring more goals in the second half (including stoppage time) wins the market.
  • If both teams score the same number of goals in the second half, the market resolves to 'Draw'.
  • If the match is canceled entirely, the market resolves to 'Draw'.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Postponement: If the game is postponed, the market remains open until the game is completed.
  • Data Availability: If official statistics are unavailable within 2 hours, Flashscore is used. If Flashscore is unavailable, Sofascore is used. If neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting is used. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours, the market resolves 50-50 or to 'Draw' where applicable.
Timing: Resolution will occur after the completion of the second half of regular play plus any added stoppage time, and within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, or when acceptable data becomes available. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds, like those found for this market, often reflect a 'wisdom of the crowd' that can differ from traditional sportsbook lines. Sportsbooks set initial odds based on statistical models and expert analysis, while prediction markets allow anyone to trade on their beliefs. This can lead to prediction market prices incorporating a wider range of information and potentially being more accurate, especially as the event approaches. However, sportsbooks may adjust their odds more quickly to react to breaking news or large bets, while this market relies on continuous trading to reflect new data.
