PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Polymarket and Predict define the same resolution criteria based on second-half goals, including stoppage time, with identical fallback procedures for data sources and handling of postponements/cancellations.Primary resolution logic: Official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers (with fallback to Flashscore, then Sofascore, then consensus reporting).

Core resolution logic:

  • The market resolves based solely on goals scored in the second half of regular play plus any added stoppage time.
  • SS Lazio wins if they score more goals than Parma Calcio 1913 in the second half.
  • Parma Calcio 1913 wins if they score more goals than SS Lazio in the second half.
  • The market resolves to 'Draw' if both teams score the same number of goals in the second half.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Postponement: If the game is postponed, the market will remain open until the game is completed.
  • Cancellation: If the game is canceled entirely with no make-up game, the market will resolve to 'Draw'.
  • Data Availability: If official statistics are unavailable within 2 hours, Flashscore is used. If Flashscore is unavailable, Sofascore is used. If neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting is used. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours, the market resolves 50-50 or to 'Draw' where applicable.
Timing: The market will resolve once the second half of the match (including any stoppage time) has concluded and the official result is available from the primary or fallback resolution sources. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.
