In the upcoming Serie A game between SS Lazio and Parma Calcio 1913, scheduled for October 24, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the SS Lazio vs. Parma Calcio 1913 match originally scheduled for October 24, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically incorporate a ‘vig’ or commission into their odds, which represents their profit margin. This market, driven by the collective intelligence of traders on Polymarket, aims to reflect the true probability of each outcome. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on expert analysis, prediction markets can quickly adjust to new information and potentially offer more accurate probabilities as the event nears. Discrepancies can arise due to differing opinions and risk assessments among bettors and market participants.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores for the first half of the SS Lazio vs Parma match. The price of each share directly reflects the market’s implied probability of that score occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice-versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's efficiency stems from the incentive for traders to accurately assess probabilities and profit from discrepancies, leading to a constantly refined price signal.
This market resolves around Oct 24, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the official result of the first half of the SS Lazio vs Parma match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact score at the end of the first half, as determined by official match statistics, will be used to determine the winning outcome. The resolution will be based on the official score reported by the governing football league and widely available through sports news outlets. Traders will be able to claim their winnings once the resolution is finalized on Polymarket.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either SS Lazio or Parma could significantly shift expectations. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they are expected to impact the style of play, might also affect the market. Even pre-match analysis from respected football commentators or unexpected lineup announcements could trigger price movements. Any information that alters the perceived probability of different first-half scores has the potential to move this market before Oct 24, 2026.
