In the upcoming Serie A game between SS Lazio and Cagliari Calcio, scheduled for November 1, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the SS Lazio vs. Cagliari Calcio match originally scheduled for November 1, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual halftime score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks may incorporate factors like biases or marketing strategies into their pricing, while this market relies on individuals directly expressing their beliefs about the likelihood of each outcome. If sportsbook odds significantly diverge from those seen here, it could indicate a perceived mispricing or a difference in the information considered by bettors versus prediction market participants. It's always useful to compare both to form a well-rounded view.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each first-half exact score. As more shares are purchased for a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher implied probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share directly corresponds to the perceived chance of that outcome occurring. The market's overall volume and trading activity influence price discovery, with higher volume generally leading to more accurate and efficient pricing.
This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final first-half score of the SS Lazio vs. Cagliari match will be used to determine the winning outcome. The resolution will be based on official match data and will be publicly available. It is important to note that the outcome is determined by the actual result of the match, as reported by official sources, and not by any subjective interpretation or opinion.
Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the odds in this market. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either SS Lazio or Cagliari would likely have a significant impact. Changes in team formations or tactical approaches announced before the match could also move the market. Unexpected weather conditions on match day, or even pre-match commentary from influential analysts, may also cause shifts in trader sentiment and volume. Any information that alters perceptions of the teams' relative strengths could lead to changes in the probabilities reflected in this market.
