In the upcoming Serie A game between SS Lazio and AC Monza, scheduled for October 11, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the SS Lazio vs. AC Monza match originally scheduled for October 11, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from those offered by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often set initial odds to balance their risk, while this market's probabilities are driven by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs. This can lead to discrepancies, especially when there's strong public sentiment or information asymmetry. It’s common to find that prediction markets are more accurate than sportsbook odds in forecasting event outcomes, though this isn’t always the case.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact score outcomes. The price of each share reflects the market's probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the collective belief. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price movements are driven by supply and demand; if many traders believe a specific score is likely, they’ll buy shares, driving up the price and increasing its implied probability. This dynamic pricing ensures the market remains responsive to new information.
This market resolves around Oct 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the SS Lazio vs. Monza match, as reported by a recognized sports data provider, will determine the winning outcome in this market. Traders who held shares in the correct exact score will be paid out according to the market’s payout structure at the time of resolution. The resolution process is designed to be transparent and based on objective data.
Several factors could influence the probabilities in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, suspensions, or changes in coaching staff for either SS Lazio or Monza would likely cause shifts. Unexpected weather conditions on match day could also play a role. Furthermore, pre-match analysis from reputable sports analysts, or even significant betting activity in traditional sportsbooks, could impact trader sentiment and move the market. A late-breaking announcement about player availability is particularly likely to cause significant price movement.
