This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka scheduled for October 9 2026 at 11:00 AM ET in Sri Lanka Tour of Pakistan T20s. The outcome corresponding to Pakistan will be considered correct if Pakistan is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Sri Lanka will be considered correct if Sri Lanka is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of each share directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust accordingly, creating a dynamic and real-time assessment of the toss outcome. The current price indicates what the collective market believes is the fair probability of each result.
This market resolves around Oct 16, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result of the Pakistan vs Sri Lanka T20 toss – which team wins the toss – will be used to determine the winning share in this market. Resolution will depend on official announcements from the match organizers and widely available sports news sources. The platform will verify the outcome against these sources to ensure accuracy and transparency.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding team form, player availability, or pitch conditions could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected weather forecasts impacting the match schedule might also cause movement. Furthermore, major shifts in public opinion, as reflected in polls or expert analysis, could also affect the market. Finally, large trades by influential participants on Polymarket could temporarily impact prices, though the market typically self-corrects as more information becomes available.
