Core resolution logic:

  • The market resolves to the team that wins the NBA game, including any overtime periods.
  • If the game is canceled or does not start by the specified deadline (November 8, 2026, 11:59 PM ET), the market resolves 50-50.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Game Cancellation: If the game is canceled entirely with no make-up game, the market resolves to a 50-50 split.
  • Game Postponement: Opinion market remains open until the game is completed. Polymarket and Predict resolve based on the originally scheduled game and its cancellation rules.
Timing: Resolution will occur after the official final score, including overtime, is published on https://www.nba.com/. If the game is canceled before completion, resolution will occur after the cancellation deadline (November 8, 2026, 11:59 PM ET).Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms.
