In the upcoming Primeira Liga game between Sporting CP and Moreirense FC, scheduled for November 7, 2026 at 3:30 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Sporting CP vs. Moreirense FC match originally scheduled for November 7, 2026 at 3:30 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, and often differ from those offered by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance their action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market represents the collective belief of traders who have skin in the game. If sportsbooks are heavily favoring one outcome, you might see a different probability distribution here, as traders weigh various factors—team form, injuries, historical data—to arrive at their own assessments. It’s a useful exercise to compare the implied probabilities to see where the discrepancies lie.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders deposit USDC to take positions on different exact scores, effectively betting on their likelihood. As more USDC is deposited on a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher perceived probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movements are driven by supply and demand; if many traders believe Sporting CP will win 1-0, they’ll buy that outcome, pushing its price up. Conversely, if traders think a different score is more likely, they’ll sell, lowering its price. This dynamic process establishes a market-determined probability for each possible exact score.
This market resolves around Nov 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the Sporting CP vs. Moreirense FC match – the exact score – will determine the winning outcome. The resolution will be based on the official match data published by a reputable sports data provider. Traders who correctly predicted the exact score will receive a payout proportional to the odds at the time of their purchase, while those who predicted incorrectly will forfeit their stake.
Several factors could significantly influence this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Sporting CP or Moreirense FC would likely cause price shifts. Changes in team form, such as a surprising loss or a dominant win in a preceding match, could also impact trader sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions on match day, or even tactical announcements from the managers, could lead to adjustments in the odds. As the kickoff approaches, even minor updates can contribute to volatility in this market, reflecting the evolving expectations of traders.
