This market resolves to "YES" if the listed club wins after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, excluding extra time and penalty shootouts, in the match scheduled for November 5, 2026, 20:00 UTC. Otherwise, it will resolve to "NO." If the match is postponed, this market will remain open until the match has been completed. If no official final result is recognized and no make-up match is scheduled, this market will resolve "NO." Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
Prediction market odds often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the nature of how they are determined. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own analysis and incorporate a profit margin, while prediction markets are driven by the collective intelligence of traders who are incentivized to accurately forecast the outcome. This can lead to prediction markets being more efficient and accurate, particularly as the event approaches and more information becomes available. However, sportsbooks may offer different types of wagers not available in this market, and liquidity can vary significantly between the two.
Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Price discrepancies between Polymarket and Predict for this market can arise due to several factors. Each platform has its own user base with varying risk appetites and information access. Trading volume also plays a role; Polymarket has seen a volume of $2,264, while Predict has a different level of participation. Furthermore, differing market-making strategies and liquidity provisions on each platform can lead to temporary price divergences. These differences reflect the independent assessments of traders on each venue, contributing to a more robust overall prediction.
This market resolves around Nov 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Benfica vs. Lech Poznań match, as reported by recognized sports authorities. Several factors could influence the price of this market before Nov 6, 2026. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in coaching staff, or unexpected player suspensions could significantly shift expectations. Match previews, expert analysis, and even public sentiment expressed on social media can also play a role. Unexpected weather conditions or referee assignments could also introduce volatility.
