In the upcoming UEFA Women's Champions League game between Sport Lisboa e Benfica and FK Austria Wien, originally scheduled for Wednesday, November 11, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET (as of creation of the first market related to the event): This market will resolve based on the final score of the Sport Lisboa e Benfica vs. FK Austria Wien match, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If this market's outcome was definitively determined under its rules by the listed resolution sources before abandonment, that outcome will stand. Otherwise, the following no-result provisions apply. If the match is canceled, does not start by Friday, November 13, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or is abandoned with no official result by that time, this market will resolve to "0-0". The following abandonment rules apply only when this market's outcome was not already definitively determined under its rules before abandonment. If the match is abandoned, this market will resolve according to the official ruling of the governing body or event organizers on the abandoned match. If a result is awarded by Friday, November 13, 2026, 11:59 PM ET that determines this market's outcome, this market will resolve based on the awarded result, regardless of the score as played. If no such result is awarded and the result as played at the time of abandonment is declared to stand by Friday, November 13, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve based on the match as played. If the match is replayed or resumed from the point of abandonment and has an official result by Friday, November 13, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve based on the completed result. In any other case, this market will resolve to "0-0". The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve to "0-0".

Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, often proving more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, especially as the event approaches. Sportsbooks may incorporate biases or seek to profit from public perception, whereas this market aggregates individual predictions. However, initial sportsbook lines can sometimes offer value before the prediction market fully incorporates information. It’s common to see the odds on Polymarket converge with sportsbook lines as the event draws nearer, though differences can persist due to varying market participants and information access.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible exact score. The price of a share reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This creates a dynamic pricing system that adapts to new information and changing sentiment. Currently, the most likely outcome, according to the market, is a 4-1 victory for Benfica, with a chance percentage of 50.0%.
This market resolves around Nov 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Sport Lisboa e Benfica versus FK Austria Wien match will be used to determine the winning outcome. The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the governing football authorities. Traders who hold shares in the correct exact score will receive a payout of 1 USDC per share, while those holding shares in incorrect outcomes will receive nothing. It’s important to monitor the event closely as the resolution date approaches.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Benfica or Austria Wien would likely cause shifts in the odds. Significant changes in team form, such as a surprising win or loss in a preceding match, could also impact the market. Unexpected weather conditions on match day might also play a role, potentially affecting the style of play and the final score. Furthermore, any major tactical announcements from either manager could influence traders' expectations and move the market accordingly.
