Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Polymarket and Predict utilize identical resolution criteria and source hierarchy for determining the second-half result.Primary resolution logic: Official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers.

Core resolution logic:

  • The team scoring more goals in the second half (including stoppage time) wins.
  • A draw occurs if both teams score the same number of goals in the second half.
  • The market remains open if the game is postponed and resolves to a draw if canceled.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • No Official Data: If official statistics are unavailable within 2 hours of the match's conclusion, Flashscore data will be used. If Flashscore data is unavailable, Sofascore data will be used. If neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting will be used. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours, the market resolves to a draw where applicable.
  • Postponement: If the game is postponed, the market will remain open until the game is completed.
  • Cancellation: If the game is canceled entirely with no make-up game, the market will resolve to a draw.
Timing: The market will resolve once the second half (including stoppage time) has concluded and the result can be definitively determined by the primary resolution source. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.
