In the upcoming UEFA Europa League game between Sport Lisboa e Benfica and Celtic FC, scheduled for October 15, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Sport Lisboa e Benfica vs. Celtic FC match originally scheduled for October 15, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds, like those found in this market, often differ from traditional sportsbook odds because they reflect the collective intelligence of a diverse group of traders rather than a single bookmaker’s assessment. Sportsbooks set lines to balance their risk and ensure profit, while prediction markets incentivize accurate predictions. This can lead to prediction markets being more accurate, especially when there’s significant public information available. However, sportsbooks often offer more readily accessible markets and higher liquidity for popular events, while this market benefits from the incentive structure of decentralized forecasting.
Prices for the Benfica vs Celtic score market can differ between Polymarket and Predict due to variations in trader participation, market liquidity, and perceived information advantages. Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts a different user base with varying risk appetites and predictive insights, leading to differing probabilities. Furthermore, the volume traded on each platform influences price discovery; a higher volume generally indicates greater confidence in the prevailing odds. Differences in the fees charged by each platform can also contribute to price discrepancies, as these costs are factored into traders' decisions.
