Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible exact score. The price of a share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust to reflect the collective forecast. The market’s price movements are driven by supply and demand; if many traders believe Sparta Rotterdam will win 3-1, they will buy shares in that outcome, driving up its price and probability. Conversely, selling pressure will lower the price.
This market resolves around Oct 28, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the Sparta Rotterdam vs. Fortuna Sittard match, as reported by a recognized sports data provider, will determine the winning exact score. The platform will then verify the result and distribute payouts to those who correctly predicted the final score. Traders should monitor official sources for the match result as the resolution date approaches.
Several factors could significantly influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Sparta Rotterdam or Fortuna Sittard would likely cause price adjustments. Changes in team form, such as a surprising win or loss in a recent match, could also shift probabilities. Unexpected weather conditions on match day, or even tactical changes announced by the managers, could also impact trader sentiment and move the market. Furthermore, any significant public endorsements or analyses from football experts could influence trading activity in this market.
