In the upcoming EFL Championship game between Southampton FC and Queens Park Rangers FC, scheduled for October 31, 2026 at 11:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Southampton FC vs. Queens Park Rangers FC match originally scheduled for October 31, 2026 at 11:00 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often proving more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, especially when considering information not immediately factored into sportsbook lines. Sportsbooks may initially set odds based on team rankings and public perception, while this market aggregates the insights of many informed traders. However, discrepancies can arise due to differing market efficiencies and the types of bettors participating on each platform. It’s common to see this market adjust more rapidly to new information or changing circumstances than traditional sportsbooks.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scorelines. The price of each share reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and the implied probability rises. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The volume of trading also plays a role, as higher volume generally indicates greater confidence in the associated outcome. Currently, the market strongly favors a 4-4 draw, with significant trading volume supporting that possibility.
This market resolves around Oct 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the Southampton FC versus Queens Park Rangers FC match will be used to determine the winning outcome in this market. The resolution will be based on the exact final scoreline as recorded by official sources. Any potential postponements or cancellations will be handled according to the platform’s standard procedures, ensuring a fair and transparent resolution process.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Southampton or QPR would likely cause shifts in the odds. Changes in team form, such as a surprising win or loss in a recent match, could also impact trader sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions on match day, or even tactical adjustments announced by the managers, could lead to adjustments in the probabilities. A significant amount of betting volume concentrated on a particular scoreline could also drive price movement in this market.
