Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, and can sometimes diverge from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. If a significant difference emerges between the two, it could indicate that prediction market traders have access to information or insights not fully incorporated into sportsbook lines. However, it’s common to see convergence as the event approaches, with both reflecting similar probabilities.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust dynamically, providing a real-time assessment of the likely winner of the first half. The current top outcome, as indicated by the highest probability, is Tie in the 1st half.
This market resolves around Oct 30, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
