Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, often proving more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds. This is because prediction markets allow anyone to participate, aggregating diverse information and perspectives. While sportsbook odds are set by professionals, they can be influenced by biases or limitations in their models. It's common to see this market's probabilities diverge from initial sportsbook lines, especially as new information becomes available and more traders participate. However, comparing directly requires finding equivalent odds for the same outcome, which isn’t always straightforward.
