On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the price adjusts accordingly, providing a dynamic assessment of the event’s potential results. This means the price is determined entirely by supply and demand within the market itself.
This market resolves around Oct 23, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Sokoltsov vs. Us match, as reported by recognized sports authorities. The platform will verify the result against these sources to determine which outcome corresponds to the actual event result. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be entitled to a payout, while those holding shares in the losing outcome will forfeit their investment.
Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the odds in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in training regimens, or even weather conditions could impact perceived probabilities. Public statements from coaches or players, analysis from sports commentators, and shifts in betting patterns on sportsbooks could also serve as catalysts. Unexpected developments leading up to the match, or even during the early stages of the event, could all lead to significant price movements in this market as traders react to new information.
