On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more people buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the most up-to-date collective assessment of the event’s likelihood. The current volume suggests active participation and a degree of confidence in the predictions being made.

Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding the players’ form, injuries, or changes in their coaching strategies could significantly shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about the match schedule or venue could also have an impact. Public opinion, as reflected in polls or analyst predictions, might also play a role, though the market isn’t directly tied to these. Ultimately, any information that alters the perceived probability of either player winning has the potential to move the market.
