All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, potentially differing from sportsbook odds which may be influenced by factors like house bias or public perception. Sportsbooks typically set initial lines to balance betting action, while this market allows traders to directly express their beliefs about the probability of each exact score. It's common to see discrepancies, especially before a significant amount of volume is traded, as the market aggregates information and adjusts its assessment of the event's likely outcome.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each possible exact score. The price of each share reflects the market's current assessment of the probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the evolving consensus. The market's depth and liquidity, indicated by the trading volume, also influence price discovery. Currently, the total volume traded is $706, showing the level of interest in predicting the final score.

Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the odds in this market. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Sligo Rovers or Dundalk could significantly impact the perceived probabilities. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if conditions are expected to be unfavorable, might also affect the market. Additionally, any pre-match analysis from reputable sports analysts or unexpected lineup announcements could trigger shifts in trader sentiment and volume, leading to price adjustments.
