Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Price discrepancies between Polymarket and Kalshi often arise due to variations in trader demographics, market liquidity, and differing risk appetites. Polymarket may attract a different user base than Kalshi, leading to distinct perspectives on the probability of each outcome. Furthermore, the volume of trading on each platform—currently $23,591 overall—can influence price discovery. Even small differences in trading activity can create temporary divergences. These variations are normal in prediction markets and reflect the dynamic nature of information aggregation.
