On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where shares are bought and sold, adjusting the price based on supply and demand. The price of a share represents the implied probability of the corresponding outcome occurring. As more traders believe an outcome is likely, the price of its shares increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The platform uses an automated market maker (AMM) model, which means there’s always a buyer and a seller available, facilitating constant trading activity and price discovery. This dynamic pricing reflects the evolving beliefs of the market participants.
