On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market dynamically adjusts as traders exchange positions, constantly refining the implied probability. Higher demand for shares in a particular outcome will drive up its price, indicating increased confidence, while selling pressure will lower the price. This creates a real-time assessment of the event's likelihood.
This market resolves around Oct 29, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Skhabitskiy vs. Ovsiienko match as reported by a recognized sporting authority. The platform will verify the result against publicly available data to determine the winning outcome. Traders holding shares in the correct outcome will be entitled to a payout based on the final market price at the time of resolution, while those holding shares in the losing outcome will forfeit their investment.
