On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of each outcome. As more shares are traded, the price of each share adjusts to reflect the current market consensus. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. For example, a share priced at 60 means there's a 60% implied probability of that outcome being correct. The market's efficiency depends on active participation and the flow of information among traders.
This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Skanderborg AGF Haandbold vs. Tth Holstebro handball match, as reported by official league sources. The platform will verify the result against these sources to determine the winning outcome. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be entitled to a payout, while those holding shares in the losing outcome will forfeit their investment. The exact timing of resolution may depend on the speed of official result reporting.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. News regarding player injuries, team form, or changes in coaching staff could all shift trader sentiment. Unexpected results in other matches involving these teams could also impact the perceived likelihood of their success. Major announcements related to the handball league or the event itself, such as venue changes or rule modifications, could also create volatility. Any information that alters the perceived probability of either team winning has the potential to move this market significantly before Nov 1, 2026.
