On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of each team scoring first. As more shares are traded, the price of each share adjusts to reflect the collective probability assigned by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome, allowing traders to express nuanced views beyond simple win/loss predictions. The more traders who believe a team will score first, the higher the price of shares representing that outcome will climb.
This market resolves around Oct 9, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be determined by which team scores the first goal in the SK Beveren vs. Lommel SK match. If neither team scores, that outcome will be considered the result. The platform will verify the result against official match data to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final outcome.
Several factors could influence this market before the match concludes. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either SK Beveren or Lommel SK would likely cause significant movement. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments announced by the managers, or even weather conditions on match day could also shift traders’ expectations. Unexpected news related to team morale or internal conflicts could also play a role, as could late-breaking analysis from sports commentators or analysts.
