Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically incorporate a ‘vig’ or commission into their odds, ensuring a profit margin, while this market allows traders to directly assess the probability of an event. If a significant discrepancy exists between the implied probability on Polymarket and sportsbook odds, it could suggest that market participants possess information or insights not yet fully priced in by sportsbooks. This difference can be a point of interest for those seeking potentially advantageous opportunities.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of specific exact scores. As more shares are purchased for a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher implied probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share directly corresponds to the probability assigned to that outcome by the collective wisdom of the traders on the platform. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the most up-to-date expectations of the event’s outcome, based on available information and analysis.
This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final, official result of the Silkeborg IF versus FC Nordsjælland match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact scoreline as determined by official sources will be used to determine the winning share(s) in this market. The resolution process relies on publicly available data to ensure an objective and transparent outcome, reflecting the actual events of the match.
