On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, meaning traders can buy and sell shares at any time, adjusting the price based on supply and demand. The price of a share represents the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, the price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s efficiency is driven by the incentive for traders to accurately predict the outcome, as profitable traders are rewarded. This dynamic pricing reflects the aggregated beliefs of all participants.
This market resolves around Nov 4, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Sideltsev vs. Simchuk match, as reported by the governing sports body. The platform will verify the result against widely available and trusted sources to determine which outcome corresponds to the actual event result. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be paid out according to the final share price at the time of resolution.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding the players’ form, potential injuries, or changes in their coaching strategies could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected results in other matches involving these players, or broader developments in the sport, might also have an impact. Public opinion, as reflected in polls or expert analysis, can also play a role, although this market is ultimately driven by trading activity on Polymarket. Major upsets or surprising tactical decisions during the match itself would likely cause significant price movement.
