Description

This market refers to the Valorant match between Shopify Rebellion Gold and KRÜ Blaze in the VCT Game Changers Championship Playoffs, initially scheduled for October 27, 2026 UTC. This market will resolve to "Shopify Rebellion Gold" if Shopify Rebellion Gold win the match against KRÜ Blaze. This market will resolve to "KRÜ Blaze" if KRÜ Blaze win the match against Shopify Rebellion Gold. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before November 10, 2026, 23:59 UTC (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 27, 2026 UTC). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, or the team is renamed or rebranded, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Frequently asked questions

Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market relies on the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome. If a significant difference exists between prediction market probabilities and sportsbook odds, it could indicate disagreement about the true likelihood of an event. Discrepancies can also arise from differing levels of information available to each group, or from biases present in either the sportsbook’s modeling or the prediction market participants.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the market's current assessment of the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust accordingly. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. These prices are determined solely by supply and demand within Limitless and are not influenced by external factors or other prediction markets. The market's efficiency is driven by the incentives for traders to express their true beliefs about the event's outcome.

This market resolves around Oct 28, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the Shopify Rebellion vs KRÜ match, as declared by the event organizers. The platform will verify the result against publicly available sources to ensure accuracy. Traders who correctly predicted the outcome will be paid out according to the final market prices at the time of resolution. The process is designed to be transparent and objective, ensuring a fair outcome for all participants.

Several factors could influence the price movement of this market leading up to Oct 28, 2026. Any news regarding team rosters, player performance, or strategic changes could impact trader sentiment.
