On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of these shares directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and express their views, the price adjusts to find an equilibrium point that represents the collective prediction. The current price indicates what traders are willing to pay for a share, effectively signaling their assessment of the likelihood of the outcome.
This market resolves around Oct 22, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the SHL hockey game between Örebro HK and Brynäs as reported by official league sources. The market will determine which team won the game, and the outcome will be settled based on that official result. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings or adjust their strategies for future events.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before the game takes place. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team lineups, or coaching decisions could significantly shift trader sentiment. Unexpected developments in team performance during other recent games, or even weather conditions that might affect gameplay, could also play a role. Major media coverage or expert analysis predicting a specific outcome could also lead to increased trading activity and price movement in this market.
