On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the collective prediction. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price is determined solely by supply and demand; if more people believe Shcherbak Denys will win, the price of those shares will increase, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date information.
This market resolves around Oct 12, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Shcherbak vs. Rak match as declared by the governing sporting body. The platform will verify the result against these sources to determine which outcome is the winner. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings or adjust their positions based on the final result. It’s important to monitor for official announcements as the resolution date approaches.
Several signals or events could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in coaching strategies, or even weather conditions could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected performance in other matches leading up to the event could also influence predictions. Public opinion, as reflected in polls or expert analyses, might also play a role, though the market isn't necessarily tied to these external factors. Ultimately, any information that alters the perceived probability of either athlete winning will likely cause movement in the market.
