Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, which represents their profit margin. This market, being driven by the collective wisdom of traders, tends to reflect more closely what the true probabilities are, although biases can still exist. Discrepancies between prediction market prices and sportsbook odds can present opportunities for arbitrage, where traders simultaneously bet on both to lock in a profit. However, it's important to remember that both sources have their limitations.
