Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from those set by sportsbooks. Sportsbooks establish lines based on their own models and to balance action, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists between the two, opportunities for arbitrage may arise. It’s common to see prediction markets incorporate information and adjust more rapidly to new developments than traditional sportsbooks, though this isn't always the case.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market price fluctuates based on supply and demand; increased buying pressure drives the price up, indicating growing confidence in that outcome, while selling pressure lowers the price. This dynamic pricing reflects the collective intelligence of the traders.

This market resolves around Oct 26, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
