On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting growing confidence. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's price is driven entirely by supply and demand, and traders are incentivized to accurately assess the probability of the second half result to profit from correctly predicting the outcome.
This market resolves around Oct 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on which team wins the second half of the Shanghai Shenhua vs. Yunnan Yukun match. The official result, as reported by a trusted sports data source, will determine the winning outcome and trigger the payout of shares to those who correctly predicted the result. Traders should monitor official sources for confirmation of the final score.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or tactical adjustments could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions or referee announcements might also play a role. Furthermore, significant shifts in public opinion, perhaps driven by pre-match analysis or expert predictions, could impact trading activity and cause the odds to fluctuate. Monitoring these signals can help traders understand potential market movements and refine their predictions.
